THE COLLECTION

CLASSIQUE COLLECTION

The CLASSIQUE Collection stands out for the superior quality of its wood, the result of a meticulous selection of oaks from reference forests, where slow growth ensures a fine and uniform grain, fostering the harmonious integration of tannins and the balanced aromatic evolution of the wine.
 
Each barrel is crafted from certified wood, fully traceable and verified by Bureau Veritas, and seasoned through natural air drying. This process guarantees sustainability, food safety, and complete transparency of origin.
 
The thermal treatment, performed using wood from the same provenance, follows rigorous time and temperature protocols to promote delicate aromatic development, complexity, and sensory consistency in every barrel.
 
Available in various formats and capacities up to 850 litres, the CLASSIQUE Collection combines technical precision and artisanal craftsmanship, setting a premium benchmark for high-quality wines.

PETRA COLLECTION

By integrating natural elements such as water and different types of stones volcanic, semiprecious, and from distinctive terroirs we have developed a wide range of thermal treatment profiles.
 
This process enhances the wine’s fruit expression, imparting distinctive elegance while minimizing the influence of tertiary aromas and eliminating the presence of toxins typically associated with traditional fire toasting.
 
In our PETRA barrel line, the meticulous selection of these natural elements is precisely incorporated into the thermal treatment process. This combination results in a uniform toast and greater barrel longevity, while amplifying the wine’s fruit expression in an intensely pure and natural way.
 
The outcome is a unique sensory experience, where oak elegance meets technical mastery,  minimizing the impact of wood and toasting-derived compounds, and revealing the true essence of the wine.

The PETRA PURE barrel combines innovation with profound respect for terroir. Its exclusive thermal treatment, inspired by the volcanic essence of stone, enhances purity, highlights the wine’s mineral expression, and imparts finesse to both aromatic freshness and palate integrity.
 
The indirect toasting method ensures minimal wood impact, prevents the release of smoky compounds, and accentuates the wine’s natural tension, elegance, and finesse. Sustainable and carbon neutral, it reinforces a commitment to conscious craftsmanship without compromising sensory excellence.

Our EXCELLENCE barrel uses the best wood and materials in every detail. This barrel is made from historic oak wood with excellent grain (0.1 to 1mm) from the forests of Tronçais, Bertranges and Bercé. It is cut in our staving mill and seasoned naturally in a controlled way for 48 months in our seasoning park

30 months of natural seasoning Extra fine grain

 

Our TOP PREMIUM barrels are made with extra-fine grain oak (0.5 to 1.5mm) from the most prestigious forests in central France, seasoned naturally for a minimum of 30 months in our seasoning park. These barrels are perfect for prolonged ageing, imparting great respect, elegance and complexity to your wines.

24 months of natural seasoning Very fine grain

 

Our PREMIUM barrels are made from very fine- grained oak (1.5 to 2mm) from French forests selected for their unique qualities. The oak is seasoned naturally for 24 months in the drying park of our staving mill facilities.

Elegance

Structure / Sweetness / Roasting


Balanced tannins, with notes of vanilla, toast and spices. The fruit is intense and lingers on the palate, with an increasing minerality. This toasting works very well for grape varieties with a higher concentration of tannins.

Volupté

Voluptuousness / Tasty / Complex


Aromatic complexity with great respect for the wine.
Adds volume, roundness and persistence. Recommended for white grape varieties and lighter reds such as Pinot Noir and Sangiovese or Tinta Roriz.

Complexity

Structure / Spices / Tension


Enhances the fruity notes of red wine, both in the nose and on the palate. Ideal for aromatic performance and balanced structure. Designed for red grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional and Pinot Noir, but also for white grape varieties such as Chardonnay.

Lumineuse

Volume / Elegance / Respect


Gives structure, aromatic freshness, purity and persistence to softer white and red wines.

AMERICAN OAK TOASTING PROFILES

MODERNE

The ‘Modern‘ toasting has been specifically developed for high quality American oak, with the aim of softening the impact of oak lactones (coconut), while producing spicy notes and tannin integration.

An aging period of 6 to 12 months is recommended for whites and a minimum of 10 to 18 months for reds.

American oak can also be toasted with the profiles: Complexity and Bright +, with similar results to a traditional French oak.
